Since joining D M Legal Associates in January 2024, Sanjay Mantu Maji has actively handled a wide spectrum of litigation matters, independently managing cases before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Over the past year, he has consistently demonstrated diligence and proficiency in strategising and executing litigation briefs across civil, commercial, testamentary, and arbitration domains.

Sanjay brings with him a solid foundation in law, having graduated with a BLS–LLB from Rizvi Law College, Mumbai in 2023 with First Class grades across all semesters. Prior to his association with D M Legal Associates, he gained hands-on experience at prestigious law firms such as Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe, where he worked on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including writs, arbitration petitions, testamentary proceedings, corporate agreements, and legal opinions.

At D M Legal Associates, Sanjay’s scope of work includes drafting pleadings, appearing before courts, briefing senior counsel, managing

 filings, client interface, and overseeing litigation strategy. His independent conduct of several matters reflects both competence and commitment. He is particularly noted for his meticulous drafting and court preparedness.
He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, and is known among his peers for being hardworking, results-driven, and ever-eager to learn.
